$750 Million Donated by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to Fight Global Health Issues

Just days after Saudi Arabia donated $25 million to the Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donated $750 million, in addition to the $650 million donated over the last 10 years. The focus of Global Fund, based in Geneva, Switzerland,  is to “dramatically increase resources to fight three of the world’s most devastating diseases, and to direct those resources to areas of greatest need.”
