Patients receiving medication for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder appear to be significantly less likely to commit crimes, according to the results of a study.

Patients with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) appear to have significantly lower levels of criminality when they are being treated with ADHD drugs compared with when they are not, according to the results of a study published in the November 22, 2012, edition of the New England Journal of Medicine.
