For over 25 years, Cardiology Review has set industry standards for editorial excellence by disseminating peer-reviewed content that “bridges the gap between research and practice” in the field of Cardiovascular Disease and the interrelationship to other disease states, such as Diabetes Mellitus, Hypercholesterolemia, Hyperlipidemia, Hypertension, and Pulmonary Disorders. Through physician-authored clinical commentaries and case reports the editorial content of the journal serves to translate relevant research, clinical trials, and commentaries on cardiovascular diseases into practical information for over 50,000 profiled Cardiologists and related specialists including, Endocrinologists, and Internal Medicine Practitioners, Interventional Cardiologists, and full memberships of the AACIO(American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin) and the ABC(Association of Black Cardiologists.
New Editor-in-Chief:
The founding editor of Cardiology Review, Peter F. Cohn, MD, served as editor-in-chief since the journal’s inception over two decades ago. In February of 2008, Debabrata Mukherjee, MD, MD, was appointed editor-in-chief, and officially took the reins of the journal at the conclusion of Dr. Cohn’s Term.
Dr. Mukherjee is highly esteemed in the industry, having contributed significantly to the literature. He has written for over 60 books, authored 6 of his own, including 900 Questions: An Interventional Cardiology Board Review; and has written 142 journal articles and 79 abstracts. He is a sought after lecturer, having been invited to present at more than 80 events. In addition, Dr. Mukheree is Gill Foundations Professor of Interventional of Interventional Cardiology, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Director of Peripheral Intervention Program at Gill Heart Institute,
University of Kentucky, Lexington.
