Dr. Raymond Cross on Encouraging Adherence to Ulcerative Colitis Treatment

In this video, shot at the annual scientific meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology in Washington, DC, Raymond Cross, MD, associate professor of medicine and director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, discusses strategies for encouraging ulcerative colitis (UC) patients to take their medication. He explains that the rate of flares for those who don’t take their medication is five to six times higher than for those who do.

In a previously posted video, Dr. Cross discussed the latest strategies for treating UC.
