In his role as Medical Director for the Center for Young Adult Adolescent and Pediatric HIV at Northwell Health, David Rosenthal, DO, PhD, specializes in treating this group but said it is important for those providers who do not specialize in this area to still pay special attention to parts of their overall healthcare that they may not consider in straight patients.
