Lesley Ann Saketkoo, MD, MPH, from Tulane University discussed some of the challenges in the diagnosis process during a recent interview with MD Magazine. With the condition affecting so many parts of the body and so many major organs it can be difficult for doctors who are not specifically trained in the condition to identify it in order to give patients the help they need.
