Specializing in treating this condition Maureen A. Mealy, RN, BSN, MSCN, of Johns Hopkins Medicine said she continues to be inspired by her patients who navigate through difficult symptom management as they await the approval of medication designed for their condition. Even with blindness and paralysis as two of the most difficult symptoms Mealy said pain management remains a greater problem for many patients.
