Craig I. Coleman, PharmD, from the University of Connecticut discussed a recent study looking at some of the more popular anticoagulants on the market and how effective they are when patients follow the recommended dosage, and also what it can mean when the prescription is not followed. The topic was presented during the American Heart Association's annual scientific sessions in Orlando.
