A battery of tests developed by researchers at the University of Arizona has proven to be successful in evaluating the cognitive abilities of people with Down syndrome. According to a report of the study, which is published in the Journal of Neurodevelopmental Disorders, the Arizona Cognitive Test Battery (ACTB) is a series of computer exercises that offer clinicians “a new tool that can help determine both the developmental trajectory of those with Down syndrome and aid in devising drug and behavioral interventions.”
