Take Advantage of Cyber Summer Deals June 20

Article

A cyber "flash sale" next week offers the potential for big savings on your summer travel, but make sure you read the fine print.

To celebrate the official start of summer, 18 hotels and resorts are offering deals as part of Cyber Summer Travel. You must book on June 20, but the discounts, depending on the property, are good for travel up to several months ahead.

Deals average 35% to 50% off rates. Wording is everything. NYAH Key West offers rooms from $99 a night. Hedonism II, Negril, Jamaica, offers every third night free. It’s harder to figure out the dollar savings for Stanton South Beach, Miami, FL, which promises “save up to 35% off regular rates.” What are regular rates: the highest ones listed on a rate card, the lower rates for Marriott Rewards, members or something else? Since Cyber Summer Travel is a flash sale, the actual discounted rate won’t appear until June 20 and will be applicable for 24 hours.

As with any promotion, assess the Cyber Summer Travel discounts to be sure they are the best available rates. Here are the promotions.
