Dinah Miller, Steve Daviss, and Anne Hanson are psychiatrists who all practice in very different places. Dinah is in private practice; Steven Roy Daviss is a hospital-based psychiatrist;and Anne Hanson works in a prison. In this interview, they each explain how they would go about diagnosing someone with depression and then how they would start treatment and medication. “The nice thing about having all three of us here is that we can each give a slightly different view point of how we assets and treat depression and that may vary depending on your setting or the type of patients you treat,” Anne Hanson says.
