Implant Surgery Completed in Degenerative-Disc Disease Trial

An FDA trial is currently taking place at Bristol Regional Medical Center on an implant designed to relieve the pain associated with degenerative disc disease. Dr. Morgan Laurio was part of the team to conduct the trial. The team performed  the first “NUBAC” disc implant this week. The hour-long surgery was completed by Laurio and NUBAC creator Dr. Hansen Yuan. This video highlights the progress of the trial.
