Nicotinic Acid Cuts Atherosclerosis in Statin-treated Patients

Nicotinic acid can reduce carotid atherosclerosis in statin-treated patients with low HDL cholesterol levels, according to a report in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology for November 3.
