Seven separate courses—“Clinical Precis: Treatment of ADHD in Adults: Meeting Therapeutic Needs,” “Case Vignette: A 35-Year-Old Man with Difficulties at Work,” “Instant Replay: Understanding ADHD in Adult Patients,” “Practice Perspectives: Presentations of ADHD,” “Rapid Cycle Performance Improvement and PI CME,” “Case Vignette: 19-year-old Female with Difficulties at College,” and “Adult ADHD: Improving Outcomes through Rapid Cycle Performance Improvement”—make up this single activity, some suggested to take 15 minutes to complete and others 45 minutes. Overall, the activity explores strategies for overcoming barriers that impede primary care physicians from addressing ADHD, diagnostic tools for differentiating ADHD signs and symptoms from those of other conditions, and ways in which to meet individual patients’ treatment needs.
