Allison R. Fine, MSW, LICSW, from Counseling for Inner Balance in Seattle discussed this strategy during the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers in Indianapolis. While it is not advised for patients with major depressive disorder, Fine said it can help when patients are getting injections and at other points in their treatment process.
