As the diabetes epidemic continues to grow, Antonio C. Bianco, MD, PhD, from Rush University Medical Center, said "everyday" hypothyroidism and diabetes can be properly treated by internal medicine doctors. He said he believes this is a trend that is continuing to grow in the medical community which can help patients get the care they need from the proper provider.
