As part of a long family tradition of Tulane Graduates William Lunn, MD, has a special place in his heart for New Orleans. Having seen the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina Lund said it has been that much more impressive to see the city rebuild in the decade since the storm.

Lunn, who was working at Baylor University at the time of the storm was assigned to work triage in the world famous Astrodome in the aftermath helping people who had been evacuated from the city he had called home during his undergraduate years. Now working as President and CEO of the Tulane University Health System said it is a point of pride for all involved to see the city rebuilding and more hospitals opening to provide the best care possible for such a wide and varying patient population.
