Conditions like congenital heart disease will follow a patient throughout the course of their lives. As a result education can be critical in keeping them healthy from their time as children through adulthood according to Syed Ali N. Zaidi, MD, from Montefiore Medical Center. This is especially true for patients who either are pregnant or considering becoming pregnant.
