Cardiology Case Report: Palpitations

Our latest case report from Brady Pregerson, MD, features a woman in her mid-40s presenting with palpitations the past 2 hours. Check out the EKG and determine the correct diagnosis!

History:

A patient in her mid-40’s presents to the hospital with palpitations for the past 2 hours. She feels light-headed but denies syncope, chest pain, SOB, fever, cough or other complaints.

Exam:

Vital signs are normal except for a pulse of 118. The physical exam is otherwise normal with clear lungs and no peripheral edema.

An EKG is performed:

Other Info: Labs are normal except for a K of 3.3

What is the most likely rhythm?
