Dipak Kotecha, PhD, from the University of Birmingham discussed the results of the recent trial looking at this subject during the European Soceity of Cardiology's Annual Confrence in London.

The results of the recent study showed that while age and gender have been considered in the past for heart failure treatments current options should be made available to not only older patients but also those of both genders.
