Lindy Fox, MD, from UCSF Medical Center discussed how telemedicine can be used to overcome deficits in the field while also considering the shortcomings that presents as well during the American College of Physicians Internal Medicine meeting in Boston. While diagnosis is usually a tactile process Fox said video conferencing and digital images can at least be a start to the process.
