As more men and women who served their country come home their skills can be put to good use in the medical community. Finding those veterans and reservists and getting them the training they need can make all the difference in their life out of uniform.

As more men and women who served their country come home their skills can be put to good use in the medical community. Finding those veterans and reservists and getting them the training they need can make all the difference in their life out of uniform.

The Duquesne University School of nursing has made a name for itself in providing a high level of education for nurses across the medical spectrum, but as they have worked to help veterans enter the field there have been some growing pains and experiences to learn from to help them move forward. Mark C. Crider, PhD, MSN, RN, said the program continues a proud tradition of the university in helping provide suport for the military through various conflicts and in peace time. There is also a military and veteran program at the university as well.
