Marianne Goodman, MD, from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai discussed this condition which can have many aspects that need to be addressed by mental health professionals. Goodman said issues patients face on a regular basis can be addressed with patients and caregivers in person and various online resources. Goodman discussed the condition during the American Psychiatric Association's annual meeting in Atlanta.
