Talking about mental health conditions may be easier than it was a few years ago but the stigma still exists in many parts of the population. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is working to overcome that issue on a variety of fronts.

Calling NAMI the "nation's largest grassroots mental health organization," Mary Giliberti, JD, CEO of the organization discussed to overcome barriers still surrounding mental health and what can be done to help these patients at the clinical level and beyond during the American Psychiatric Association's annual meeting in Atlant.
