Carl W. Bazil, MD, PhD, is the Caitlin Tynan Doyle Professor of Neurology, College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He is the director of the Division of Epilepsy and Sleep at the Neurological Institute in New York City. He is the epilepsy section editor for Current Neurology and Neuroscience Reports, and a member of the Editorial Boards of JAMA Neurology, The Medical Letter and Epilepsy.com.
