The International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders—a public charity

provides this section of its site for patients. Pulling information from journal articles and other physician-authored pieces, the site provides thorough reviews of symptoms, treatment, tests, and daily living with the disease. Patients will also find the stories of others who have been affected by GERD, as well as the opportunity to offer encouragement to others by sharing their own story. Those who become members of the foundation will receive free access to online publications in the site’s Learning Center Library.
