Anthony J. Bazzan, MD, from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital discussed the benefits of integrative medicine during a recent interview with MD Magazine. While Bazzan said there are aspects of this concept being used in different parts of the medical community there are only a few centers like the one he directs in Philadelphia. Bringing together the best in Eastern and Western medicine, Bazzan said they are able to not only treat patients for specific conditions but also improve their quality of life overall.
