Anthony Feinstein, MD, PhD, from the University of Toronto discussed some of the work he is doing in this field during the annual meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers in Maryland. While there are mental health professionals who specialize in treating patients with multiple sclerosis Feinstein said it is important for psychiatrists and psychologists alike to be aware of the condition so they can provide their patients the best care possible for their depression.
