This trial will test the hypothesis that the Medibus SRS endoscopic stapling system will be effective in improving GERD-related quality of life.

To the test the hypothesis that the Medibus SRS endoscopic stapling system—which consists of a procedure performed through the mouth with no abdominal incision in which the operator staples the stomach to the esophagus in order to restore the gastroesophagela flap valve—“will be effective in improving GERD related quality of life by 50% or more in the majority of the subjects, and that the procedure will be as safe as surgery.”
