2022 ASPC Congress on CVD Prevention Live in Louisville, KY from July 29-31

The 2022 scientific sessions in Louisville, Kentucky will emphasize inclusiveness and the care for all at risk for cardiovascular disease.

The American Society for Preventive Cardiology (ASPC) will host their 2022 Congress on CVD Prevention on July 29 - July 31 in Louisville, Kentucky. The scientific sessions for this year’s conference will emphasize inclusiveness and caring for all at risk of cardiovascular disease.

The programs for this year include cutting-edge lectures, debates, and practical applications, as renowned experts and leaders in the field explore the broad spectrum of preventive cardiology. The topics covered will include:

  • Blood pressure - renal denervation
  • Heart-Brain Axis
  • Aspirin usage debate
  • Primordial prevention
  • Cost of prevention
  • Overcoming barriers in the treatment of diabetes in clinical practice
  • Diet, exercise, and weight loss
  • Social determinants of health

Satellite events will include a masterclass on imaging techniques to assess global cardiovascular disease and its risk, a luncheon to network with women in preventive cardiology, and a satellite symposium on saving the hearts of women through prevention.

There will additionally be new research presented in the Abstract Hall and other social opportunities, including an Annual 5k Fun Run, during the weekend.

At the completion of the event, individuals should have the knowledge to identify critical factors for success in preventive cardiology, apply principles of diversity, positive culture, and health equity, and understand the rationale for changes in clinical risk assessment guidelines, and more.

The event is designed for an audience of cardiologists, lipidologists, endocrinologists, internists, family practitioners, osteopaths, nurse practitioners, dieticians, and other healthcare professionals involved in prevention.
