A good stockbroker is a very importanttool to have when you're trying toconstruct a substantial investment portfolio. When listening to a stockbroker, however, always remember that thebroker, just like you, works for a living. If brokers knew how to make money inthe stock market all the time, theywouldn't be working for a living—they'd be too busy trading the marketsfor themselves. Every time a broker hasa hot stock for you, ask them howmuch they put into it. If it's not much,or anything at all, it may be time to findanother broker.
