How About New?

Although the skinflint side of you saysyour next car should be preowned, youmay hanker for that new car smell and allthe goodies that come with it. If you needa reason to shop for a brand new set ofwheels, how about better gas mileage fora start? Gone are the days when you hadto drive a mini-mini to get 30 miles pergallon (mpg). Even the biggest SUVs canmanage a mid-teen mpg out on the highway.Lower emissions are another reasonto think new. Several models, both foreignand domestic, qualify as ultra-lowemissions vehicles, with minuscule harmfulemissions. And even if the miser inyou prevails, you can still enjoy thinkingabout all the good stuff your next usedcar will have in it 2 or 3 years from now.
