When the American College of Cardiology held its annual meeting in Chicago it was a chance for some of the leading experts around the world to meet and share their knowledge in the field with their peers.

With the meeting in his backyard Clyde W. Yancy, MD, from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine said there were valuable lessons not only for those who attended the conference but also those who would get information from the meeting at its conclusion. With so many experts in attendance Yancy said many of the more pressing conditions doctors see on a daily basis wer covered, providing the latest in treatment options and what might be on the horizon for patient care.
