The fight against HIV is not just a fight against a virus.

Dazon Dixon DIallo, MPH, the Founder and President of SisterLove, explained at the 20th Annual United States Conference on AIDS, the work her organization has been doing for the last 27 years. A sexual and reproductive health justice organization, with a great focus on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. Diallo explained that two decades ago, even in the sexual and reproductive health community, HIV was not a priority - largely because of the stigmas surrounding the disease.
