IDWeek 2013 will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.

IDWeek 2013 is “a forum for health professionals of varied backgrounds to collaborate, cooperate, and learn from each other’s expertise.” IDWeek 2013 “will be an inclusive meeting that offers access to internationally recognized leaders in the field and the opportunity to network with the most highly respected health professionals in infectious diseases, including HIV.”

IDWeek 2013 is a collaborative meeting of several medical societies:

  • The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), which represents physicians, scientists and other health care professionals who specialize in infectious diseases
  • The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), which is a professional society that represents physicians and other healthcare professionals around the world with expertise in healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention and control.
  • The HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA), which promotes quality in HIV care by advocating policies and supporting programs that ensure a comprehensive and humane response to the AIDS pandemic informed by science and social justice
  • The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS), which represents professionals dedicated to the treatment, control and eradication of infectious diseases affecting children.

Thursday, Oct. 3 -- 10:00am — 2:00pm

Friday, Oct. 4 — 10:00am – 2:00pm

Saturday, Oct. 5 — 10:00am – 2:00pm

Posters will be on display in the Poster Hall C of the Moscone Center on the following days and times:
