At IDSA, the announced that it had been awarded a contract with the US Department of Veterans Affairs to "deployed the Sanford Guide Web Editions" to all US- and Puerto Rico-based VA Medical Centers. Known as the "essential reference for infectious disease treatment," the provides physicians with treatment recommendations by disease.

HCPLive spoke with Jeb Sanford, managing editor, about the new contract and the response physicians have had using the newly released app at the 49th Annual Infectious Diseases Soicety of America Meeting.
