As more focus is put on the treatment of heart failure, especially more serious cases, specialized training and certification is being offered to give patients the highest quality of care possible.

Participating in a "great debate," during the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology in Chicago, Maria Rosa Costanzo, MD, from the Advocate Heart Institute discussed a special training program which has been implemented to provide a higher level of care for patients.
