Speaking at the annual IDWeek meeting in New Orleans, Thomas M. File Jr., from Summa Health said hospitals do not have a uniform way of monitoring antibiograms, which can be a good way of telling how effective they are at keeping their patients safe from various pathogens. While some only monitor results on a yearly basis, File said his system's reporting can be found right on their computer screens while treating patients on a daily basis.
