Q&A With Jack Burks of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America: Keeping Communication Open in Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis Relapses

Multiple sclerosis is a condition that affects a person's life over the course of many years. For those with the relapsing form that can include managing symptoms and potential relapses that come during treatment.

Jack Burks, MD, the Chief Medical Officer of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America addressed some of these issues during the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers in Indianapolis. Burks said one of the most important steps can be to recognize what is a relapse for patients and what may be the result of outside factors.
