Nancy Lane, MD, shared a rheumatologist's perspective in treating patients who suffer pain and osteoporosis. While she and other experts use many medications to treat osteoporosis, there aren't very many right now. As such, Lane believes they need more medications that willincrease bone mass, and is hoping abaloparatide, if approved and safe, can be welcomed as a new treatment for osteoporosis.
