Gout is well known as the “disease of kings,” but the disabling disease reaches well beyond royalty as it now affects more than 3 million Americans. Although new treatments have been successful, gout remains poorly understood and often undertreated.

Last month, Rheumatology Network offered a summary of the 2012 American College of Rheumatology guidelines for the management of gout. Take this brief quiz to test your knowledge of the treatment recommendations.
