Tip:

If you've been bitten by the spare-carbug or are in the market to replace whatyou're currently driving, take a look at acertified preowned vehicle, which usuallyhas been put through a rigorous inspectionroutine and often comes with anextended warranty that adds miles ormonths to the original warranty. Theextra measure of confidence comes at anaverage cost of about $1000 over a comparablenoncertified car, but you can stillput yourself into a decent set of wheelsfor far less than if you bought a new vehicle. Make sure the certificationcomes from the carmaker, not the dealer,so you can have it serviced at other dealershipsthat sell that make.
