The nation's leading money managersare very confident in the stock market for2004, according to the recent Barron'sBig Money Poll. Nearly 65% of thosesurveyed were "bullish" on the market'slong-term prospects; just 12% were"bearish". The consensus asset allocationrecommended among the 113 moneymanagers was 72% equities, 20% fixedincome, and 8% cash. The industries thatwon favorable review were technology,health care, energy, and capital goods.The stocks that won popular poll profileswere Pfizer, Newmont Mining, Comcast,Amgen, Cisco Systems, First Data, GeneralElectric, and XTO Energy.
