Physician's Money Digest

In reference to your letter, "Is There No Cure for the Plague of Debt?" in the April 2006 issue of , I am speechless when it comes to the increasing debt that younger physicians must manage, and wonder why universities and organizations don't stress the importance of debt management courses. I know of colleagues who, years out of school, are now participating in Credit Counseling courses, trying to make up for lost time. It's just unfortunate that they had to take such an active role in educating themselves, already knee deep in debt.
