Mileage Pro: The Insider's Guide to Frequent Flyer Programs (OAG Worldwide; 2005) is a comprehensive and informative guide targeted to those travelers who wish to learn how to get the most out of their frequent flyer programs, such as obtaining upgrades and other perks. The book outlines how to choose the best program, how to earn the most miles or points, how to redeem those miles or points, how to exchange points between programs, and how to upgrade your status within the program. Mileage Pro also outlines tax and legal information in regard to rewards programs.

For the novice traveler, Mileage Pro offers a history of programs and an introduction to the strategies and tactics best used to manage these programs. For the more traveled reader, the book is a refresher guide with a resource section of detailed program information including Web site addresses and other publications. Overall, Mileage Pro is a guide for those trying to figure out their mileage programs in order to get the most and best upgrades available to them.
