COVID-19 Video Series: Yishay Szekely

When it comes to COVID-19, the science is changing rapidly.  Every specialty is struggling to keep pace with the massive amounts of new information coming out virtually every day.  And cardiology is no exception. Today I’m speaking with Dr. Yishay Szekely , a cardiologist from Tel aviv University about what his team has learned about how COVID-19 affects the heart from echocardiography.  Their paper was published last week in the American Heart Association journal Circulation, and what he says is that sometimes you have one idea about what’s happening – but once you are able to visualize it – the results can surprise you.
