Have a Vision for Your Practice

I was working with a client recently, and we spoke about her vision and focus for her practice. As a gynecologist, she sees women of all ages, but she focuses on teenagers, allowing them a place to get proper care and education without judgment and criticism.

This physician has a focus. She has a vision of where she wants her practice to go. That does not mean she won’t treat patients who are older, but she has found a niche in her specialty and geographical area.

Her passion is helping teens through their adolescence, and she has found a way to take her practice and turn it into her passion. Or is it the other way around? She has found a way to take her passion and turn it into her life’s work. Either way, this is a physician with a vision and direction. Her patients are the ones who benefit most.

Finding her focus took time. The experience of working for years allowed her to see what she enjoyed, what worked, and where she felt need and passion.

Where is your vision of your practice taking you? Take a moment to ask yourself this question. Email me the answer at donna@officemanagementsolution.com.
