Medical Properties Group (MPG), a Colorado company, is looking to change how physicians care for patients by creating coordinated medical facilities that join primary health care physicians with specialists under one roof. MPG's "Wellness Centers" feature an electronic medical record system and one unified billing system, both making communication between physicians and specialists easier.

Patients benefit from this arrangement by having a single location for all their health and wellness needs. Striving to provide patients with faster service, MPG brings together physicians and specialists that use common or similar insurance networks and provides its tenants with promotional, marketing, and events coordination to help physicians increase their patient base.

MPG currently handles seven medical office buildings in Colorado, Phoenix, Indiana, and is scheduled to begin work on its newest complex in south Denver in 2007. The new complex will feature a staff of primary care physicians, plastic surgeons, nutritionists, a rehabilitation center, a medical day spa, and psychologists.
