Samia Mora, MD, from Brigham & Women's hospital discussed some of this latest research during the American College of Cardiology's 65th Annual Scientific Session & Expo in Chicago. Maura said this work was not done to solve the debate between the benefits and risks of HDL and LDL but rather to learn more about its pathology and how that can help patients in the future.
