FUND SUPERMARKETS

One-stop shopping for mutualfunds through a fund supermarketlike Fidelity Fund Network (800-343-3548) can be convenient andmay even save you money. You maybe able to buy into an institutionalversion of your favorite fund andenjoy a lower expense ratio, andminimum investments may be lower.Buying funds that aren't on the fundsupermarket's list can be expensive, though, and the list of nonparticipatingfunds is likely to get longer. Fundsupermarkets are upping the ante byraising the fees they charge funds tobe listed, which may lead somefunds to drop out.
